Doing things that matter…

I once heard success is about helping yourself and significance is when we are helping others… and it shows when we search the words success and significance. Success has about 7 billion searchs while significance shows 17 billion. People want to living in significance and do things that matter.

When I was a young boy, a lot of people helped raise money to pay for my eye surgery. Years later, my niece (Summer Waller) was diagnosed with Leukemia at age 7 and a lot of people helped her too. She is now thriving. Now we want to help others… and I am asking you to join me on this journey with a small donation!

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Dallas “Light The Night” event is this Saturday November 4th and I want to make a final ask this week. Through the Executive Challenge, I’ve set a fundraising goal of $10,000 and am asking for your support in funding LLS life-saving research. I am only 25% there – but with your help, we can get closer!

To make a donation, please visit to my personal fundraising page: https://pages.lls.org/ltn/ntx/DallasL23/bwallerlu2 . Once there, click the “donate now” button to make your 100% tax deductible donation to LLS. If you prefer, you can also mail a donation.

The mission of LLS starts with the word cure – to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, and to improve the quality of life of patients and their families. In the past 70 years, LLS has invested more than $1.5 billion to advance cancer therapies and save lives. In fact, 75% of all blood cancer drugs approved by the FDA over the past five years were backed by LLS.

I hope I can count on your support for my Executive Challenge efforts and to advance the work of LLS, to save more lives and find cancer cures.

Thank you in advance to all those that have donated and those that are planning to donate - and mostly for being significant in every area of your life! …and come join me in Dallas this Saturday November 4 for the “Light the Night” event and let’s walk together! -Bruce
