Forbes magazine recently posted “according to SHRM, for every $1 that a company invests in executive coaching, they receive $6 return in profit, productivity, or sales/cost savings”. Now that is significant!
This can be true for many other areas in business and life — including employee relocation. In fact, this is what we do when it comes to helping companies elevate the experience for their employees moving. Our strategy is help companies understanding costs, know the trends in the market and most importantly – understanding the business needs of the client.
How can a relocation coach add value? It’s all about having a playbook with OPTIONS!
- According to WorldwideERC, approximately 68% of companies offer Lump Sum benefits. However, this can become non-taxable income to employee when direct billed to the company. There are ways to add more value and stretch the lump sum for the employee, while containing cost for company.
- Help identify market trends and options available based on needs. Example might be if your employee has small shipment with a tight delivery window. In this case, a container option might be the play.
- Since we are in business planning season, a relocation coach can help review your current policy and compare to trends in the market to make sure you are not only competitive, but controlling costs along the way. There are ways to cut costs without sacrificing a quality relocation for a US domestic and international relocation.
