What’s your ONE thing? Sticking to it will elevate YOU and YOUR TEAM success!

Sarah Blakely once said, “The more you experience, the more you have to share with others”. Last week I experienced a North Texas Relocation Professionals presentation by Lee J. Colan called “Sticking to it”. After the presentation, Lee provided copies of his latest book “Sticking to it, The Art of Adherence”. This is a great compass for anyone in leadership role. Today, I want to share 3 takeaways to help add value on your leadership journey:Sticking To It

  1. Find your ONE THING. High achievers know how to focus on things that matter. It’s okay to say “no” to projects or volunteer activities that don’t align with your one thing to help you achieve your goals.
  2. Elevate your team competence with clearly defined goals. Every employee should understand company goals and how they align with your company’s one thing.
  3. Apply the inside-out model which starts with YOU! Work on yourself by reading, asking questions, and learning to share with others.

Lee’s book is filled with inspiring quotes including this one… “You don’t have to be great to get started, but you have to get started to be great.”
